Police Charge Man with First Degree Murder in 2014 Homicide
The Jackson Police Department has charged Corbyn Davis, 25, of Jackson, with first-degree murder in connection with the 2014 death of Jamar Rogers.
Rogers, who was 24, was fatally shot on the parking lot of the Omni Center at 1849 U.S. 45 Bypass around 3 a.m. on June 3, 2014. During the ongoing investigation by the police department’s Major Crimes Unit, Gang Unit and Cold Case Investigator, Davis was developed as a suspect and subsequently charged.
Davis was arraigned Feb. 11 in Jackson City Court. He remains in custody at the Madison County Criminal Justice Complex.
