March 8 Firearm Safety Course Full - Next Course Set for May 24 
The Citizen's Firearm Safety Course scheduled for March 8 is currently full. Our next course is set for May 24.
The classroom portion of the course is held in Room 210 at Gadsden State Community College’s Joe Ford Center from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. (East Cardinal Drive, Gadsden, AL 35902)
Registration is required; simply your name(s) and a contact number is all that is needed. 80 seats are available per class. Please email [email protected] to sign-up. The course is free.
Please do not bring your weapon to the classroom portion of the course.
Time will be set aside for those who wish to attend a range day with our firearms instructors for hands on firing of your weapon. The range day will be held on the following Saturday, at 8:00 a.m., at the Owls Hollow Shooting Range.
During the course participants will learn: firearms safety, knowing your firearm, responsibilities of ownership and use of a firearm in the State of Alabama, Alabama self defense laws and Alabama pistol permit laws.
