Incidents 336 Reports 49

#010 Commercial Burglary

At 8:16 a.m., Officer Navas investigated a commercial burglary at a restaurant located on the 100 block of the courtyard at the Fremont Hub. Entry was made by breaking the front glass door. The area where the register was located was ransacked and the suspect(s) took a drawer of the register that contained cash.

#016 Petty Theft

At 12:21 p.m., Officer Wilson responded to the 39200 block of Fremont Blvd to investigate a shoplifting incident.  Officers took a 40 year old adult female into custody for petty theft, on a complaint from loss prevention personnel.

#024 Battery on a Police Officer/Under the Influence

At 12:31 p.m., Officer L. Kennedy investigated a disturbance in the 36900 block of Oak St.  One of the involved parties left and was located at approximately 1:10 p.m., at a gas station nearby on Thornton Ave at Fremont Blvd.  Officers contacted the 37 year old adult female and tried to discuss the incident with her.  The female displayed symptoms of being under the influence and to acted aggressively towards officers during their contact.  At one point she spit in the face of an officer.  She was placed in a wrap for the safety of all involved and booked into Santa Rita for battery on a police officer and for being being under the influence of a controlled substance.  

#026 Commercial Burglary 

At 10:42 a.m., CSO Oliveira investigated a commercial burglary in the 4100 block of Trimboli Tr. that occurred sometime between 2/6/16 - 2/8/16.  Entry was made to a construction storage unit and unknown suspect(s) removed items without permission. 

#027 Grand Theft

at 1:38 p.m., Officer Dias investigated a grand theft from as retail store in the 43800 block of Pacific Commons Blvd.  The loss is $2k - $3k worth of fragrance. The suspects are a black male adult, 19-20 years old, 5’9”, thin, wearing a camouflage hat, grey or green jacket, and a teardrop tattoo on his face; and a black female adult, 19-20 year old, 5’6”, medium build, with long braided hair, and a white shirt or jacket. The suspect vehicle was a grey SUV.  

#039 DUI Traffic Collision

At 5:12 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Fremont Blvd and Gateway Blvd where a vehicle had crashed.  The investigation determined the lone female driver was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and caused the collision.  The adult female driver was arrested for DUI.

#046 Armed Robbery

at 8:51 p.m., officers responded to a robbery at a sandwich sandwich shop located on the 34100 block of Fremont Blvd.  Two males wearing masks and wielding a gun and knife robbed the employees of cash and fled on foot.  They remain at large. The suspects were described as:

Suspect #1 - Heavy set white or Hispanic male, approximately 5'7", wearing a red jacket, black baseball hate and black jeans.  Suspect #2 - White male wearing a black Raiders hooded sweatshirt, ski mask and black jeans.  

#048 Robbery

At 9:37 p.m., officers responded to a report of a street robbery.  A lone male pedestrian was robbed of his wallet near Max Drive and Grimmer Blvd.  The two suspects fled the area in a grey Japanese type vehicle.  They remain at large.  The suspects were described as:

Suspect #1 - Hispanic or white male adult, approximately 20 years old, medium build wearing a maroon sweatshirt and a light colored hat.  Suspect #2 - A black male adult, approximately 20 years old with a medium build and approximately 6' tall.

#001 DUI Arrest

At 12:44 a.m., Officer Allsup saw a vehicle driving northbound on Washington Blvd in the southbound lanes of traffic.  A car stop was made on the 3900 block of Washington Blvd and the driver was contacted.  The 27 year old adult male driver had an open container in the vehicle and he was arrested for DUI.
