Sonoma County Sheriff Coroner’s Office is releasing the name of the person who died on Saturday afternoon, February 6, 2016, after suffering a medical emergency while bicycle riding near Annadel State Park, in the unincorporated area of Santa Rosa, Sonoma County.
The deceased is identified as Darrin Allen Bascom, a 43 year old man from Santa Rosa. His family was located and informed of his death.
The Sonoma County Coroner’s Office scheduled a forensic pathologist to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
