On 2-5-16 at 11:06 AM APD officers were dispatched to a theft report at a residence in the 500 block of S. Alabama. While taking the report the officer smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside of the residence. The homeowner Robert Fermond Chandler WM 28 was asked about the smell and admitted to having marijuana in his house. The officer continued his investigation and eventually a search warrant was obtained and served at the residence. Officers located several gallon size baggies of marijuana inside of the house along with drug paraphernalia and two pistols. Chandler was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana <=5lbs >4oz, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and booked into the Potter County Detention Center.
