On 2-6-16 at 4:39 PM APD officers were dispatched to the area of NE 24th and Echo on a disorderly subject armed with a knife. Officers located the suspect Justin Anthony Sevier WM 19 walking in the area. As Officers attempted to contact Sevier he pulled a large kitchen knife from his backpack. Sevier threw the knife directly at the officer, however the officer sidestepped causing the knife to miss him. Sevier then fled on foot, but was apprehended by the officers. Sevier was arrested and booked into the Potter County Detention Center on the charges of Aggravated Assault of a Public Servant, Prohibited Weapons(knife with blade over 5 ½ inches in length), and Evading Arrest/Detention.
