HCSO Homicide Investigators Charge Man For Murder In West Harris County. 
Harris County, TX) Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide investigators have charged 28 year old Walter Alex Alfaro (DOB 8/27/1987), in the death of a male found on Thursday, February 03, 2016, in west Harris County.
On Sunday, February 07, 2016, Alfaro was arrested by Ft. Bend County Sheriff’s deputies at a residence in Ft. Bend County.
On Thursday morning around 7:00 am, a witness walking home from work along the bayou in the Bear Creek Meadows subdivision saw the body of the male lying on the embankment.
Deputies from the west District 4 patrol division responded, and identified the male as 31 year old Omar Borregon-Casanova. The complainant appeared to have been beaten and robbed.
The complainant’s personal property was located nearby in front of a residence located in the 19600 block of Tully Meadows court.
His vehicle a 2012 Toyota Camry was later recovered several block from the scene.
Alfaro is currently being held in the Ft. Bend County Jail awaiting transfer to Harris County.
He will be held on a $50,000 bond .
