*Update*Silver Alert #LASD Missing Persons Detail Seeking Public’s Help Locating Missing Man from South Gate

Detectives from Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Missing Persons Unit are continuing to ask the public for assistance in locating Armando Mayorga Alaniz, a 58 year old man who was last seen at the 10000 block of California Avenue, South Gate, California, on February 1, 2016, at 5:00 P.M.

The search has been upgraded to a Silver Alert.

Mr. Alaniz’s family is concerned and is also asking for the public’s assistance.  It is believed he may be wondering the streets.

Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Missing Persons Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Armando Mayorga Alaniz, a 58 year old male Hispanic who was last seen at the 10000 block of California Avenue, South Gate, California, on February 1, 2016, at 5:00 P.M.

Mr. Alaniz is described as 5’06”,160 lbs, has gray and black hair, hazel eyes, and suffers from Dementia, Alzheimer’s, and Diabetes, for which he takes daily medication.

Mr. Alaniz loves to collect cans and walk to recycling centers.
