Residents are reminded that criminals may be on the lookout for easy opportunities. Break the Crime Triangle (Ability, Desire, and Opportunity) by following the below suggestions:
-Turn your porch light on and use other outdoor lights
-Keep all windows locked
-Keep all doors locked
-Use dead bolt locks on exterior doors
-Use light timers for interior lights while you are out
-Keep your garage door closed and locked
-Keep your parked vehicle's doors locked and the windows closed
-Never leave valuables in plain sight
-Look out for your neighbors
-Trust your instincts. If it seems suspicious, report it to police
