It has came to our attention as well as other Sheriff's Offices in this state that someone is calling recently released inmates from county jails and requesting additional bond money be paid to keep from being re-arrested. THIS IS A SCAM. The sheriff's office and/or bonding companies do not call after a person has posted bail through a bonding company asking for more money in order to remain free. If anyone receives such a call please get as much information as you can from the caller and call the Sheriff's Office and report it at 931-363-3505. Do not give any money due to a phone call of this nature.
