Deputies recover 10 stolen vehicles from a chop shop operation at a San Bernardino residence

SUSPECT(S): Kristen Neal, 23, San Bernardino and Steven Corricelli, 27, San Bernardino
VICTIM: Inland ATV
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 10:36 a.m. while on patrol, Deputy Rappisi was alerted to a LoJack stolen vehicle recovery signal in the city of Loma Linda. Deputies began to close in on the stolen motorcycle and observed a group of individuals in a back yard. The deputies were able to observe the motorcycle which was partially hidden under a tarp. Units from San Bernardino Police Department and the Sheriff’s helicopter assisted during the contact with the subjects. One suspect fled the area on foot, but was captured a short time later and taken into custody.
Detectives from SANCATT, a multi department auto theft task force, responded to the location to assist with the investigation. A total of 10 stolen vehicles were located between the two residences. Most of the stolen vehicles had been taken in previous burglaries from Inland ATV in Loma Linda.
During the investigation additional stolen vehicle components and a firearm were located and taken as evidence.
