Synopsis: Daniel Gutierrez (29 yr old) was pulled over by Police for a minor traffic violation. Officer's made contact and obtained an identification card from Gutierrez. Gutierrez suddenly sped away W/B and Officer's lost sight of him. Gutierrez continued W/B 4400 Camino De La Plaza at a high rate of speed. Gutierrez lost control of the high speed vehicle and drifted across the roadway and into a light pole. Gutierrez suffered serious injuries, including a brain bleed injury. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment. It was later discovered Gutierrez had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. No other motorist were involved or injured. Traffic Division is investigating.

Synopsis: A HMA robbed the 99 cent store at gunpoint. The suspect was described as being 5'6" tall, medium build, shaved head and wearing a blue At&t shirt, jeans and black glasses. He entered the business, produced a gun, made a demand and was last seen leaving toward 47th st. on foot. The loss was undisclosed and Robbery Detectives are investigating.
