Deputies arrest a Victorville man for the armed robbery of a Gas Mart 
DATE/TIME: January 31, 2016/2315 hours
INCIDENT: PC211 - Armed Robbery
LOCATION: Gas Mart (Mojave & La Paz) - Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Joshua Welch - 23 years old - Victorville
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On January 30, 2016, at approximately 11:15 p.m., Deputy Fidler responded to the Gas Mart reference an unrelated call. Deputy Fidler approached the business and noticed a suspicious male exiting the store. The male subject, was later identified as 23 year old Joshua Welch. Deputy Fidler checked inside the store and quickly learned that the clerk and a customer had just been robbed. Deputy Fidler was able to locate Welch near the Roadway Inn with the help from several citizens.
Welch was arrested for robbery and felon in possesion of a firearm. He was booked at the High Desert Detention Center.
