Scott Chandler, City Engineer for the City of Jackson, has authorized the temporary road closures, of All-lanes starting of College Street from Liberty to Church; All-lanes of Lafayette Street from Liberty to Church; All-lanes of Main Street from Liberty to Church street on Saturday,February 6, 2016, 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. (weather permitting) for the JDDC "Downtown Kid's Mardi Gras Parade" event. Parade starts at 10:30 a.m.
The parade route is as follows:
Parade starts on E. Lafayette at Church Street,
Turn East & head South on Church Street,
Turn right onto E. Main Street,
Turn right & head North on N. Liberty Street,
Turn right & head east on East College Street,
Turn right & head West on E. Lafayette Street.
Please heed all traffic control during this event.
