Sex Crime Arrest 
(Etowah County, Alabama) A Rainbow City man was arrested in connection to a sex crime, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
David Chase Jenkins, 45, of Rainbow City, was arrested today, January 30, for his involvement in a sex crime.
He is currently being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center without bond.
Jenkins is an officer with the Rainbow City Police Department. He has been placed on leave. Charges are pending as the investigation into this incident is ongoing.
