Investigators of the Jackson Police Department are in the area of Boardwalk Cove investigating a suspicious death.
Around 4:00 a.m., officers were dispatched the vicinity of Boardwalk Cove for an unidentified black female lying near the entrance. Responding officers determined this female to be deceased.
The victim's name and cause of death is not being released at this time. Investigators are continuing in their investigative efforts.
