The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office honored Detective Philip Bailey and Captain William "Sonny" Chapman with a reception to acknowledge their retirement.
Detective Philip Bailey completes 30 years and Captain Sonny Chapman completes 43 years of faithful service in law enforcement.
Sheriff Chris Francis presented each of them an engraved crystal, their badge, and service weapon.
Sheriff Francis thanked them for their dedicated service to the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office, and the citizens of Rutherford County. He expressed that they will be truly missed as well as the services they provided.
