#032 DUI Arrest

At 6:25 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted in the area of Trinity and Tehama.  The driver, a 23 year old adult male was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for drunk driving. The passenger, a 23 year old adult male, Fremont resident, was holding an open bottle of Remy Cognac Champagne at the time of the stop, and was arrested for public intoxication and drinking alcohol while driving in a motor vehicle.

#040 Grand Theft

At 6:26 p.m., Officer T.Bobbitt responded to a residence to take a suspicious circumstances case.  The reporting party advised someone had called her and said that her grandson was in jail and needed to be bailed out.  The reporting party arranged for the $8000 bail, but now learned her grandson hadn’t been arrested and believed the call to be a scam.  Investigation is ongoing. 

#043 Residential Burglary

CSO Baca took a residential burglary report from the 2700 block of Washington Blvd. The burglary occurred between 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  The unknown suspects likely used bodily force to gain entry into the garage and then enter the house.  Loss reported was jewelry.  There are no known suspects. 

#039 Invasion of Privacy in a Bathroom

At 5:38 p.m., Officer Gigliotti and FTO Zargham responded to a retail establishment at the Fremont Hub regarding a male who was allegedly taking pictures of a juvenile child in the men’s restroom.  The suspect, a 47 year old adult male, San Jose resident was detained by security and FPD was called.  The male was placed under arrest and booked into the Fremont Jail for invasion of privacy in a bathroom. 

#001 Possession of Methamphetamine

At 12:36 a.m., Officer Gregory conducted a traffic stop near the area of Mission Blvd and Niles Canyon, which led to the contact with a 38 year old adult female, Fremont resident.  A probation search of the female and her vehicle was conducted, and she found to be in possession of methamphetamine and arrested for the same.        

CR #004 Commercial Burglary

At 4:29 a.m., officers were dispatched to a report of an alarm sounding on the 3900 block of Washington Blvd.  Officers arrive at a liquor store and find that it was burglarized.  Officers reviewed video surveillance which showed an unknown male break the front glass door to gain entry and steal cigarettes, food and a small amount of currency.
