Press Release: Juveniles Arrested For Residential Burglary

On January 27, 2016 at approximately 10:33a.m, a Manhattan Beach resident called police dispatch to report suspicious subjects in the neighborhood.  The resident also reported the subjects were last seen on Manhattan Beach Blvd, crossing Aviation Blvd.  Officers from Redondo Beach Police Department detained the subjects at Manhattan Beach Blvd and Rindge Ave.  Found in their possession was a backpack, which was filled with sports memorabilia and personal items in the name of a Manhattan Beach resident.

Manhattan Beach Police Officers and Detectives responded to the location and the investigation revealed the subjects had burglarized a Manhattan Beach home (1700 blk of 11th St).  Both subjects, who were identified as juveniles, were transported to Manhattan Beach Jail for booking and were subsequently transported to Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall.

Arrested:
#1: Male, Juvenile (17yrs), Los Angeles
#2: Male, Juvenile (13yrs), Los Angeles

Charges:
Burglary (459PC), Possession of Marijuana (11357(b)HS) and Conspiracy to Commit Crime (182PC)
