Rancho Cucamonga Multiple Enforcement Team deputies arrest Daniel Pina for possession of narcotics for sale

LOCATION: 9400 block of Mignonette Street, Rancho Cucamonga
SUSPECT: Daniel Pina, 20 years old, resident of Rancho Cucamonga
SUMMARY:
On January 22, 2016, deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Multiple Enforcement Team (MET) investigated narcotic activity at the 9400 block of Mignonette Street. MET observed vehicles come and go from the residence and believed the occupants of the residence were possibly selling drugs.
MET confirmed the occupants of the residence were selling marijuana. MET obtained a search warrant for the residence and found Daniel Pina in possession of five pounds of processed marijuana, five marijuana plants, ½ oz. of cocaine, a .22 caliber handgun, an SKS assault rifle and a large amount of cash.
Pina was arrested for possession for sales of marijuana, possession for sale of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance while armed. Pina was booked at the West Valley Detention Center, and his bail was set at $50,000.
