The Jackson Police Department needs the public's assistance in identifying two suspects involved with using stolen identities.

Identity Theft

Jackson Police Department investigators are looking into the fraudulent purchase of gifts and phone cards from Sam’s Club, 2120 Emporium Drive, on Dec. 8. The Jackson Police Department needs the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects who were caught on the store’s video surveillance about 8:55 p.m. that day.

According to the investigation, two unidentified black women bought gifts and phone cards using stolen identities. While inside the business, the suspects did not acknowledge one another other, but were working in concert at separate self-scan registers.

Video surveillance captures the two women entering the same vehicle and leaving the scene. Investigators are looking for a newer model Chrysler or Dodge, white, four-door sedan that is believed to be associated with the crime.

Anyone able to identify the women in the photos should contact the Jackson Police Department at 731-425-8400 and ask to speak with an investigator, or contact 731-424-TIPS (8477) or www.jmcrimestoppers.org or text CRIMES (274637) and enter agency keyword (tips 911) along with your tip.
