Good morning North Brunswick residents.
The Department of Public Works and private contractors are continuing their round the clock snow removal and plowing operations to ensure that all Township roads and passable.
Our 34 plowing vehicles have been operating continuously and have made repeated passes to roadways. The efforts were complicated due to record snowfall coupled with high winds that caused blowing and drifting snow back onto the streets.
Fortunately, the weather has improved with clearing skies and lighter winds which will greatly assist in snow removal efforts.
We urge residents to please be patient as our DPW employees, along with private contractors clear the roads today. We anticipate that all of Township roads will be cleared by evening.
As always, the safety of our residents remains our top priority.
