#SCV Sheriff's Station Detectives looking for man who attempted to sexually assault a Newhall mother

Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station detectives are asking the public for their help in locating a  man who attempted to sexually assault a 36-year-old woman in the Newhall area last weekend.  Suspect Richard Sanchez allegedly unlawfully entered the victim’s apartment and grabbed the victim, forcing her to the ground. As Sanchez was pulling on the victim’s dress , his attempted assault was interrupted by the victim’s child.
 
Richard Sanchez, is described as being a 29-year-old male Hispanic, approximately 6’ 00” tall and weighing 230 lbs.  He is wanted for Attempt Sexual Assault and Burglary.
