Based on information provided during a conference call with Monmouth County OEM, residents can expect the storm to last into Sunday morning with blizzard conditions and snow totals around 24 inches. The next high tides are expected to be less than previous tides.

Due to hazardous road conditions and to assist in plowing operations, residents are urged to stay indoors until the storm passes. High winds, ranging from 50-60 mph, are expected to last for several more hours and may result in power outages. Power outages should be reported to JCP&L at 1-800-544-4877. Downed wires or other emergencies should be reported to the police at 732-566-2054 or dial 9-1-1.
