An OSBI undercover investigation into sharing of child pornography over the Internet results in the arrest of an Oklahoma City man today. For several months, Steven Donaldson (d.o.b. 11/4/1980) shared images and videos containing child pornography to the undercover OSBI agent. Agents obtained Donaldson’s IP address and tracked down Donaldson to a trailer park at 3500 S. Douglas Blvd. Agents with OSBI, the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office, and Edmond Police served a search warrant this morning on Donaldson’s residence and recovered numerous computer-related items. A forensic preview of those items at the scene revealed more than 100 files containing child pornography. Investigators also learned Donaldson is a registered sex offender. In 2009, Donaldson was convicted of lewd molestation in Kay County and is currently on probation. Agents arrested Donaldson for aggravated possession of child pornography (more than 100 images), distribution of child pornography, and violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act. He was booked into the Oklahoma County jail.
