UPDATE – SIKH TEMPLE FIGHT
The following people have been identified and arrested following the active investigation of the fight that occurred at the Sikh Temple on Sunday, January 10, 2016:
Manjit Kaur Johal, 47-year-old female of Hilmar, CA, and Anjit Kaur Bagri, 45- year- old female of Delhi, CA.
On January 21, 2016, an Arrest warrant was issued for Manjit Kaur Johal for two counts of assault with a deadly weapon. An arrest warrant was also issued for Anjit Kaur Bagri for two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and robbery. Johal and Bagri confronted two victims outside the Temple’s restrooms and proceeded to physically assault them with hands and feet. The victim’s sustained nonlife-threatening injuries which required medical attention. Anjit removed personal property from the victim during the assault. On Thursday January 21 at 1700 hours Johal and Bagri surrendered themselves at the Stanislaus County Jail. This is an on-going investigation and further details will be released as information becomes available.
