Muncie Man and His Cousin Arrested for Felony Warrants And A Meth Lab

Muncie – Troopers from the Pendleton District, along with Indiana State Police SWAT and the Pendleton District Meth Suppression Team, served a search warrant last evening on a Burlington Drive home in Muncie. That search warrant led to the arrest of a Muncie man and his cousin on felony warrants, as well as the discovery of a meth lab.

Glen Hatfield, age 45 of Muncie, was located and arrested at 1409 S. Burlington Drive, in Muncie, around 6:15 p.m. last evening. Glen Hatfield was wanted on a felony warrant from Henry County for Possession of Methamphetamine, Level 5 Felony, and Possession of a Handgun without a License, a Level 6 Felony.

The Henry County charges stem from an ongoing investigation by Trooper Thomas Ratliff. That investigation began on December 13th, 2015, after Glen Hatfield crashed his pickup into a creek around 4:30 a.m. at the SR3 and US 40 intersection in Dunreith. Trooper Ratliff’s investigation into that crash led to the felony warrant being issued by the Henry County Prosecutor’s Office.

Also arrested at the Burlington Drive home was Glen Hatfield’s cousin, Kevin Hatfield, age 46. Kevin Hatfield was found to be wanted on a Delaware County warrant for Theft, Level 6 Felony. He was lodged in the Delaware County Jail.

While serving the search warrant on the Burlington Drive home troopers also located a Meth lab. In addition to the Henry County warrant charges, Glen Hatfield also stands charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Level 4 Felony and Possession of Methamphetamine, Level 6 Felony; Possession of Precursors, Level 6 Felony and Possession of a Syringe, Level 6 Felony.

Glen Hatfield was lodged in the Henry County Jail. Troopers were assisted in their investigation by Henry County Prosecutor Joe Bergacs.
