Forged Instrument Arrest
(Etowah County, Alabama) A Guntersville woman has been arrested in connection to obtaining counterfeit money, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Amy Jo Reaves Conn, 38, of Guntersville, is charged with one count of first degree possession of a forged instrument, which is a felony,” Deputy Eric Terrell said.
Conn allegedly was in possession of nine pieces of counterfeit money. She was arrested after Deputy Terrell made a traffic stop on the vehicle she was riding in. Conn also was in possession of illegal narcotics and paraphernalia. Additional charges were brought forth by the Etowah County Drug Enforcement Unit.
Conn is currently being held in the Etowah County Detention Center on $5,000 bond for possession of the forged instruments.
