11:50 a.m. - Cal Trans notified us that they have removed the debris and we are okay to reopen the roadway. Please proceed with caution if driving through today due to frequent rock slides.

Cal Trans is on-scene with a hauler and is clearing the roadway of rock and debris. We do not have an estimated time for the canyon to reopen. Rock slides are common in the Niles Canyon and motorists should use caution when driving through on rainy days.
