* TIMING...PRECIPITATION WILL MOVE IN DURING TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE THROUGH MUCH OF TUESDAY NIGHT. PRECIPITATION WILL MAINLY TAKE THE FORM OF SNOW...ESPECIALLY FOR AREAS NEAR AND NORTH OF INTERSTATE 70 IN MISSOURI AND INTERSTATE 64 IN
ILLINOIS. ELSEWHERE...SLEET WILL MIX IN AT TIMES WITH THE SNOW.
* ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 4 INCHES OF SNOW...MINOR ACCUMULATIONS OF SLEET POSSIBLE IN PARTS OF SOUTHEAST MISSOURI.
* WINDS...EAST 5 TO 10 MPH...WITH GUSTS UP TO 20 MPH DURING TUESDAY AFTERNOON.
* IMPACTS...THE WINTRY PRECIPITATION WILL RESULT IN HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS...ESPECIALLY ON BRIDGES... OVERPASSES...AND UNTREATED ROADS. PARKING LOTS AND SIDEWALKS WILL BECOME SLIPPERY AS WELL.
