If you live in San Marcos be aware of increased law enforcement activity in your area.
A SWAT standoff is underway in the 3500 block of Linda Vista Drive. A man wanted for making criminal threats is holed up inside a mobile home and is refusing to surrender.
Only homes next to where the suspect is hiding have been evacuated. There might be road closures in the area.
You might hear a Sheriff's Helicopter or ASTREA flying overhead making announcements urging the suspect to surrender peacefully.
