Protect yourself from being a victim of a theft and or burglary.

The Green Bay Police Department has received several complaints from victims reporting their cars were broken into and garages/unlocked buildings were entered. Based on the victims, this is occurring during the hours of darkness and occurring on the west side of the city.

The attached map shows the pockets of theft and burglaries with in the last 30 days. We are asking for your help in providing any information you have about these thefts and burglaries.

Below are crime prevention tips to prevent yourself from being a victim of a theft or burglary.
• Lock your car doors, garages, and out buildings
• Keep yard lights on
• Park your vehicles inside or in areas that are well light
• Get to know your neighbors and together watch out for one
another
• Call the police if you see something suspicious.

Attached is a footprint of a suspect walking around one of the victim’s houses. Please be cognizant of footprints in the snow around your house or vehicles when you know there should not be any prints there. This should alert you to the suspicious activity. Please call if you see anything suspicious
