Single Vehicle Crash

Cass County Sheriff, Joseph M. Underwood Jr., reports that his deputies investigated a single motor vehicle crash on Miller Rd. north of Dutch Settlement on January 11th, 2016 at approximately 11:30 am. Investigating Deputies reported that the driver, Tamara Marie Heino (31 yrs.) of Marcellus, was south bound on Miller Rd. when she ran off the roadway on the right and into trees that line the roadway. Tamara was the only occupant of the vehicle and sustained minor injuries, she was transported to Three Rivers Hospital for care by Newburg Ambulance. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this crash and the driver was wearing a seatbelt. The crash remains under investigation at this time. The Cass County Sheriff's Office was assisted by Newburg Fire Department and Newburg Ambulance.
