Two Arrested after Search of Residence
Vermillion County—This morning at 10:30, acting on community tips and other investigative information, Indiana State Police Troopers from the Putnamville Post went to a residence at 4147 Jefferson Street in Hillsdale and served a Vermillion County search warrant.
During the investigation, troopers discovered several items of drug paraphernalia, items commonly associated with the manufacturing of methamphetamine, and remnants of what appeared to be prior meth labs.
Arrested: Joshua Washington, age 31, of the address.
Held in the Vermillion County Jail.
Charges: Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Paraphernalia, Dumping of Controlled Waste, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, and a Vigo County Arrest Warrant for Failure to Appear on Criminal Conversion.
Arrested: Jamie Brandenburg, female, age 28, of the address
Held in Vermillion County Jail
Charge: Visiting a Common Nuisance
The investigation originated in recent days after Troopers Jeremy Lewis and Tim Rader received information from the community about possible drug activity at the residence.
Assisting were Trooper Mike Laney and ISP Meth Suppression Troopers Shilo Raulston, B.J. Patterson, and Adam Edwards.
