Two Arrested for Burglary – On December 23, 2015, at about 11:10 AM, Oakland Police officers responded to the 5400 block of Cole Street on a report of an in-progress residential burglary. Upon arrival, the officers made contact with witnesses, who pointed out the suspect vehicle fleeing from the scene. Officers initiated a traffic stop and two adult female suspects were taken into custody. Items taken in the burglary were recovered and returned to the victim. Other items, apparently taken in other burglaries, were also found in the vehicle. Investigators are following up to see whether the suspects can be linked to any previously reported burglaries.
