NIPSCO has restored more electric customers as of 5:00 PM however there are still many without power in Steuben County according to Emergency Management. NIPSCO has reported to EMA that they have crews continuing to work into the night hours tonight in effort to restore as many customers as possible. REMC is also continuing efforts to restore customer power. Please check on your neighbors and those in need. Should you require assistance, please call communications at 260-665-3131. They will help direct you to the assistance you may require until everything is restored.
