Child Concealment Investigation Christmas Eve

Los Angeles: Christmas Eve, 2015, a 2 year-old little girl is missing after her Father slipped away from a court appointed monitor during his parental visitation, and then failed to return the child to her mother Christmas Eve.

On December 24, 2015, around 1:00 p.m., Jack Perry the father of 2 year-old Lucia Perry, was partaking in one of his weekly court supervised visits with his daughter.  Perry and his daughter Lucia were in the company of a court appointed monitor who lost sight of Perry and the little girl as they vanished into the crowded shopping complex near Fairfax and 3rd Street.  The monitor unable to locate either Perry or 2 year-old Lucia, immediately called Lucia’s mother, Elise Perry.  Elise Perry immediately reported the incident to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Wilshire Area where a Child Concealment investigation was initiated.

The case was ultimately transferred to the Van Nuys Division because the mother resides in the Van Nuys area.  Van Nuys investigators learned that Lucia’s father is a British National and has the means to take his daughter out of the country which would be a serious violation of the courts’ orders.  Lucia’s mother also advised that Jack Perry had previously threatened to take Lucia to England which is where Mr. Perry is from originally.

As the investigation continues, law enforcement sources both locally and abroad have been alerted to the child concealment case.  It is the hope of all authorities that Mr. Perry will return the child to the mother immediately in order to resolve this matter and ensure the safety and wellbeing of Lucia.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of either Lucia or Mr. Perry are encouraged to contact Van Nuys investigators at 818-374-9500 or to call “911” if either Lucia or Jack Perry are seen anywhere in public.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to call Van Nuys Division at 818-374-9500. During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (877-527-3247).  Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477).
