A Burlington Judge has changed his decision regarding the Sexual Assault case involving an Uber Taxi driver; Omar Nassir.
After additional evidence was submitted by Chittenden County Deputy States Attorney Emily McCarthy, Chittenden County Superior Court Judge James Crucitti changed his decision and granted the states motion to reconsider.
Judge Crucitti wrote in his decision; “The court believes that the state has made a good faith showing that it can present first hand evidence on the issue of consent. “ The case has been set for arraignment.
The affidavit of probable cause will be on file with the Chittenden Superior Court Criminal Division Court Clerk.
