Severe Storms Expected
Showers and thunderstorms will increase in coverage and intensity through the day today and into tonight. Rain may be locally heavy at times with some minor flooding possible. There is the possibility that a few thunderstorms may become strong to severe mainly this afternoon and tonight with an isolated tornado possible.
Later tonight through the morning hours Thursday we are expecting the severe storm threat to increase.
Damaging wind is the primary threat but isolated tornadoes and large hail remain a possibility.
Stay alert to rapidly changing weather conditions and monitor local media outlets and/or NOAA weather for later statements and warnings regarding this developing dangerous weather situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible watches and warnings to be issued.
Note that a Flood Watch remains in effect through Christmas Day. Persons living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
