UPDATE:
After a continuous investigation and numerous interviews, the detective division of the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office earlier today (12-22-15), secured warrants against Henry David Allen of Nehemiah Drive, Forest City, for the shooting in which Jessica Arrowood Dalton suffered a gunshot wound to her neck.
The shooting incident occurred at 359 Newton Cole Road on October 24, 2015.
The Rutherford County Sheriff's Criminal Interdiction team was able to locate and arrest Allen and transport Allen to the Rutherford County Detention Facility.
Allen has been charged with:
(1) Count Assault with Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury
(3) Counts Discharge Weapon into Occupied Property
(1) Discharge Weapon into Occupied Property inflicting Serious Bodily Injury
Bond for Allen was set at $700,000.00 secured.

ORIGINAL MESSAGE:
On October 24, 2015 at 11:51 am the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a 911 call reference to a shooting at 359 Newton Cole Road.
Rutherford County Sheriff’s Deputies responded and found twenty five year old Jessica Arrowood Dalton suffering from a gunshot wound to her neck.
Dalton was transported to Spartanburg Regional Hospital by Rutherford County EMS. Dalton is still a patient and is listed in critical condition.
The residence at 359 Newton Cole Road was fired into multiple times by a rifle caliber. All rounds appear to be shot from outside the residence.
There were several occupants in the residence at the time of the shooting and it appears that Dalton was an innocent victim.
