On December 21, 2015 at 3:46 p.m., officers from the Menlo Park Police Department responded to a robbery in progress at the Trader Joe’s grocery store. Officers in the area located the suspect and a lengthy foot pursuit ensued.

The suspect was eventually captured and arrested. He is identified as Melvin Williams, a 56 year male out of East Palo Alto.
