TorranceAlerts –Public – Arrest of Interest 
The
Torrance Police Department is requesting any additional information on the
following arrest: Jane Maria Nicholson, who identifies as a transgender female,
was arrested by the Torrance Police Department following the investigation of
an incident that occurred during the summer of 2014. During that incident, two 13-year-old males
were approached in the area of 182nd St and Crenshaw Blvd and offered oral
copulation. Nicholson subsequently orally copulated one of the victims.
In
late 2015, a 16-year-old male victim was approached in the area of 190th and
Hawthorne Blvd by the suspect who asked if he was interested in oral sex. Nicholson subsequently engaged in sex acts
with the victim.
The Torrance Police Department is requesting anyone with information related to these cases or any additional similar cases wherein victims may have been contacted or solicited by Nicholson to contact detectives.
