Eversource - Helicopter Activity This Coming Week (12/14-12/18)

If weather conditions allow, Eversource will be utilizing a helicopter service next week to conduct inspections of certain transmission lines in Southern New Hampshire.

Landing Zone Locations - Airports only.

Work Hours - Dawn to dusk (7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m).

Time Period - Seven days or less, and possibly weekends. Weather dependent.

Duration in a Given Town - Unlikely to be in a town more than one day.

What can residents expect to see? Small black (ND-500) helicopter flying at airspeed of 25-30 knots along transmission rights-of-way. Personnel will use binoculars and camera. Aircraft will hover at each structure and possibly mid-span if problems are observed.

Why is this work being done? - Inspecting the condition of Eversource's transmission system in Southern NH.
