The officer who arrived at 250 Apex Drive this afternoon regarding a domestic disturbance found 36-year-old Jonathan Wardlow acting erratically. At one point, Wardlow tried to strike the officer. The officer pulled out his taser and commanded Wardlow to get on the ground. Wardlow complied. The officer holstered his taser and attempted to apply handcuffs when Wardlow got on top the officer and took the taser. Wardlow pointed the taser at the officer. The officer pulled his gun and shot Wardlow. Agents have interviewed several people who witnessed the shooting. Wardlow was from Healdton but has no connection to the address where the shooting took place.
