At approximately 1 o'clock this afternoon, a Healdton officer responded to a domestic disturbance at 250 Apex Drive. Several minutes into the call the officer shot and killed Jonathan Wardlow (age not yet available). The officer was not injured. The Carter County Sheriff's Office requested OSBI investigative and crime scene agents work the case. Agents are trying to determine what led to the officer shooting Wardlow. OSBI will complete a comprehensive report and deliver it to the district attorney who will determine whether the shooting was justified.
