Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s deputies with Rural Crimes Investigations are requesting public assistance to help locate the owners of stolen agricultural property. The items totaling more than $30,000 dollars were recovered yesterday, December 10, from a storage locker in Santa Maria. The location of the storage locker is not being released due to the ongoing investigation.

The property includes 31 rolls of drip tape, four broccoli bunching machines and welding equipment. Numerous containers of various fungicides, sulphur, pesticides and fertilizers were located in the storage locker as well. Most of the property has been returned to its rightful owners. However, the drip tape and all of the various chemicals still need to have an owner be identified.

1 container of Acadian 0.1 \ 0.0 \ 5.0 2.5 gal
1 container of Trainer fertilizer 1.3 gal
1 container of LI 700 Drift Control 1.6 gal
1 container of NPKelp fertilizer 1.6 gal
1 box of Brigade Pesticide (restricted use) with 3 bags
14 bags HSI 99.9% SO2 Sulfurous Acid Bisulfite 50lbs ea
1 bag of Simplot Ammonium Sulphate 21-0-0


The suspect in this case may have ties to the Salinas Valley as well, but that has yet to be established.
