This is a TEST Emergency Message from the City of Torrance, TorranceAlerts system. 

This is a reminder that the Exxon Mobil Refinery's Community Alert Siren will be tested today at 11:30 a.m.

The siren activation delivers the "Shelter in Place" message. Shelter in Place means:

•      Go inside;
•      Close windows and doors;
•      Turn off AC/Heater, close fireplace dampers;
•      Listen to specific instructions via the media or official notification;
•     Tune into Citisounds 1620am.
