Merritt Road between Sachse Road and Pleasant Valley Road still closed due to high water 
UPDATE: Road Closures in Sachse
Merritt Road is still closed. The 4400 block of Merritt Road is still covered in water. It is highly likely the roadway will be closed through tomorrow. We are watching the road and the weather closely and will update you with any changes.

Sachse road at the Sachse/Wylie border has be re-closed due to water beginning to crest over the roadway.
Please avoid low lying areas and where water is covering the road. Even though the water may appear shallow the water may be moving faster than you think and you can't see under the water and there is the possibility that the roadway or bridge could have been washed away.
