Request for assistance from possible witnesses of hit and run traffic collision at intersection of F St. and 6TH St.

On 11-24-2015 at approximately 6:23 PM , a hit-and-run traffic collision causing injury occurred at the intersection of 6th Street and F Street in Petaluma. A silver Honda Civic was reported to have struck a pedestrian in a crosswalk at the intersection. The vehicle fled the scene after the collision and was unable to be located.
The pedestrian is a 43 year old female from Petaluma. The pedestrian sustained minor abrasions to her left leg and possibly a broken left hand. The pedestrian did not need to be transported to a hospital and was going to seek medical attention on her own.
