Advisory

Coastal flooding possible thru Thurs #KingTides affecting low lying areas Stay out of flood zones. http://tinyurl.com/pd4wol2

Flooding of beach and coastal access infrastructure, low lying roads, trails, docks, harbors, park-and-ride lots, tidal flats and coastal underpasses is possible (especially in and around Marin County).  Be aware of road closures in effect i.e. Hwy 1 off 101 to Stinson Beach and Manzanita Parking lot.

Keep in mind that coastal flooding can be exacerbated by runoff, strong onshore winds and large surf.

Generally speaking extreme high tides are expected to occur during the mid to late morning hours of November 25th and 26th.

Do not leave your vehicle in low lying parking lots near the coast or bay front. Do not travel through flooded roadways. If visiting the coast avoid narrow beaches and coves.
